Prepare a blueprint for sharing

Turn your workflow into a resource that others can understand and reuse.

Start with the expected result

Explain the problem it solves, the inputs it needs, and the deliverable it produces. Provide an example with demonstration data. List the agents and dependencies to install, the versions tested, and any possible costs of external services.

Prepare the graph

  1. Name blocks after their functions and add annotations to less obvious steps.
  2. Replace machine-specific paths with documented parameters.
  3. Remove API keys, tokens, private identifiers, and personal data from the configuration.
  4. Export the JSON graph and inspect its contents before sharing it.
  5. Reimport the export into a test environment and check the setup process.

Distinguish the definition from the results

An export of an executed graph may contain logs, files, and results from your session. It requires an additional review before distribution. To offer a reusable starting point, prefer a graph definition accompanied by demonstration data you have checked.

Share for free or sell

You can share your blueprints for free. Any sales must go through the official HackInvent store. Choose a blueprint license and check the rights associated with the blocks, resources, and content you include.

The studio license, the blocks’ open-source licenses, and your blueprint’s terms are separate. Do not present a blueprint purchase as a studio license or an AI provider subscription.

Support future versions

Describe changes, new dependencies, and any migration steps. Keep a reproducible example to check that each version still delivers the promised result.
